Chief Financial and Human Resources Officer
As Chief Financial and Human Resources Officer, Michael Costabile works closely with Intalere’s board and the leadership team in their efforts to continually increase the company’s value to healthcare providers, guide its strategic direction and growth, and improve its operations.
Costabile leads the financial, accounting and supporting information systems of the company. His span of leadership encompasses: financial reporting, planning, budgeting and analysis; new business assessment and development; value creation; treasury; tax, compliance; facilities; legal; risk mitigation; and asset management. His focus is on identification and communication of financial drivers, data and analytics in order to support decision making and resource allocation to achieve the highest impact priorities of Intalere.
Costabile also leads the Human Resources function of Intalere ensuring a high-performance work culture through employee engagement, enrichment and retention. His span of leadership encompasses: talent selection, development and retention; performance management; organizational design and engagement; corporate-wide training and development; compensation and benefit programs; policy administration; regulatory compliance; and employee relations. His focus is on talent management as great people are the foundation of all great organizations.
Prior to being named CFO of Intalere’s predecessor, Amerinet, Costabile was the President of Administrative Resources, Inc. d/b/a Amerinet Central, where he had previously also served as CFO, Senior Director of Finance and Accounting, and Controller. While with Amerinet Central, Costabile played an integral role in strategic planning, financial planning and analysis, process improvement, system implementation, legal and tax matters.
He serves on the Board of Directors of National Purchasing Partners. He is a graduate of Leadership Development Initiative Pittsburgh. In 2005, he was named one of Pittsburgh Magazine’s “40 Under 40” notable members of the community. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Healthcare Financial Management Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association for Corporate Growth.
Costabile earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Penn State University and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1994.
