In his role as chief sales officer for Intalere, Jason Baumgartner oversees the operation of the company’s acute and non-acute sales teams, sales support, clinical field specialists and customer service. He is responsible for providing sales leadership, strategic planning and implementation of sales initiatives to drive corporate growth.
Baumgartner’s professional experience has been strictly within the healthcare arena. Prior to joining Intalere, Baumgartner held the position of AVP of Business Development and Commercialization for Intermountain Healthcare, working closely with the Intermountain Supply Chain Organization in developing and commercializing key products, technologies and services to enhance the healthcare supply chain, reduce clinical variation and take costs out of the healthcare system.
Previous experience includes that of regional vice president of Sales for Health Trust Purchasing group, during which time Baumgartner was instrumental in the development of the company’s supply chain offering. He also held positions as vice president of Sales for MedSpeed and vice president of Enterprise Solutions for Premier Inc. Over a 13-year period Baumgartner held various sales and national account management roles for Allegiance/Cardinal, leading varied business units within the Cardinal franchise from hospital acute care distribution to scientifics products to the care continuum/non-acute division.
Baumgartner holds a bachelor’s degree from Utah State University.
