St. Louis (May 12, 2020) - Intalere, the healthcare industry leader in delivering solutions designed for improved financial, operational and clinical health for our partners, today announced a new agreement with TMG Health Technologies for Rapid Decontamination Systems (RDS) for use on N95 Masks and other products and supplies.

“The ability to disinfect and reuse disposable N95 filtering facepiece respirators is critical during this COVID-19 pandemic,” said Thomas Coy, Business Development, TMG Health Technologies. “TMG’s RDS Systems have been effective in terminating the most virulent and highly resistant pathogens including the Coronavirus, MRSA and C-diff Spores.”

The Spectra product series is a chemical-free 30 second UV-C decontamination solution for terminating pathogens on surfaces, that impacts hand sanitation compliance, improves patient safety and advances employee health at an operating cost that is less than the cost of a sanitation wipe. As a new protocol for decontaminating sensitive electronics, the RDS systems are faster, easier, more convenient and provide the kind of chemical-free, decontamination solution long sought after by healthcare facilities. The RDS-30 / 32 models are specifically designed to kill virtually all pathogens to a reduction greater than 99.9% [> 3.4 Log₁₀] in a single 30 second cycle. Higher Log₁₀  reductions are achieved at 60-90 seconds.

“We are thrilled to partner with TMG Health Technologies to make this important breakthrough product available to our members during a time of great need,” said Todd Larkin, Chief Operating Officer for Intalere. “Masks and other important products and supplies may now be instantly decontaminated and returned to stock.”

The RDS-30 [18” x 12.5” x 13.5”] is compact in size and designed for use at nurse stations and lounges. The RDS-32, [28” x 12.5” x 13.5”] is designed for mobile room-to-room applications and central depositories. In addition to the main door access for unplugged items such as, medical instruments, tablets, keyboards, cell phones and handheld communication devices, each unit has a side access door to facilitate the fast decontamination of plugged-in items [wired] such as TV remotes controls, nurse call, and wall mounted medical equipment.
